Triston Grant Re-Signs

Great news today -- Triston Grant has re-signed with the Predators.

According to the Preds press release, it's a one-year, two-way contract worth $500k at the NHL level, and $60k at the AHL level.  Plus a nice signing bonus to the tune of $30,000.

Grant was also just one of four AHL players last year to post more than 150 penalty minutes and a positive plus/minus rating in double digits (+11).  All of that in just 55 games.

Grant was a part of our favorite line combination, grouped with Nick Spaling and Ryan Maki.  And yeah....he blocked a slapshot with his jaw, and rather than sprawling out on the ice, he just brushed it off and skated to the bench.  He is the definition of "tough".

Move over Chuck Norris

Triston Grant facts may become commonplace in Milwaukee.  You know, stuff like....

- Triston Grant's hand is the only hand that beats a Royal Flush.
- When the Boogeyman goes to sleep, he checks his closet for Triston Grant.
- Triston Grant can kill two stones with one bird.  Didn't think that was possible?  That bird didn't think so either.

Great to have him back.  For sure.
