&lt;p&gt;It is one of those things I do on video games (bumping guys in and out of a pitching rotation on capricious whims) but that when done to actual human beings wouldn't work out so well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What I do find amusing is that a lot of people who have in the past lectured on how &amp;quot;real people play the game, not statically driven robots&amp;quot; are in favor of this because the stats back it up.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I hope Ned doesn't go this way.&lt;/p&gt;
