So the Cavs come in with a record of 41-11, and at the top of the Eastern Conference, and the Bucks are coming in at the 8th slot with a record of 27-30. So even though it’s a home game for the Bucks, I have to say with all honesty that I expect them to lose by at least 10 points. Call me mean…I can’t help it. So I am a bit surprised at halftime when they are winning 57-51! The last point scored was a 3-pointer from Lebron that was almost from half court…sick.
As expected, there are more fans (18,076) here than I’ve seen all year long. Is it because Luke Ridnour is finally back after his thumb injury? Hmmm, I think it was explained by the roar of applause Lebron James got when he was announced into the starting lineup. He didn’t look totally on top of his game in the first half (even after scoring 25 points). But after scoring 16 points in the 1st 3 minutes of the 2nd half, I have no more criticism to give.
I don’t know what was said in the locker room, but it must have been good! Bucks went from a consistent lead, to trying to keep up! One of the most insane few minutes of basketball I have ever seen…ever.
Here’s the Lebron James 2min, 50 sec Breakdown: 15’ jump shot, 3 point 27’ jumper, 3 point 26’ jumper, 3 point 26’ jumper, 3 point 25’ jumper, 14’ jump shot. 16 points. Insane!
Then Charlie V gets ejected from the game after a “flagrant” foul, which basically means he took Cavalier player #17 Varejao down by the face and a big fight broke out. It was totally insane.
Score 1st 2nd 3rd Final
Bucks 27 57 82 103
Cavaliers 25 51 86 111
Top Scorers: Lebron James-55; Williams-23; Villanueva-26; Jefferson-17

-Greg Jennings made the jumbo-tron and was met with wild cheers and a standing ovation! Go Pack Go! He took a few half court shots for fun and rimmed them! Maybe he should have been a basketball player.
-I am sitting next to Doug Russell, who has had me on he and Mike’s Sports Radio 1250 morning show a few times. He knows I have a soft spot in my heart for Lebron, and at one point I missed an airball that Lebron had. Doug made sure I knew it, and the only thing I could quietly spout out was “It’s ok baby!” Ha. Good thing he’s the only one that heard!
-Bucks’ mascot Bango is still limping around in his brace after a knee injury he sustained entertaining at the All Star Game in Phoenix, AZ. He’s supposed to have surgery in March. Good luck Bango!!!
-5 area high school principals each had 1 chance to make a basket. If they made it, their school would get $100,000. If they missed…nothing. No pressure, huh? No one made it. :(
