• Calling all SEXY BREWERS' FANS!!!!

With the Brewers' season well underway, it's that time of year for everyone to really get out there and start tailgating again! Well, unless you're the die-hards that have been out there at least 10 times already....and for that I commend you!

Either way, this year Sportsbubbler wants to get in there and check out more of the tailgating action. That's where you ladies come in! I need 1 or 2 ladies to come and tailgate with me at a few big games and grill out, play beer pong, and get in front of the camera with myself and tons of fans. Basically you'll get to party, have fun with lots of people, and go to the game for free... all while making great videos that will be featured on Sportsbubbler.com. What more could you ask for??

Along with the game tickets and a feature spot in the videos, you'll also get some cute Sportsbubbler t-shirts and a Brewers' bikini!

Ladies must: be fun and outgoing, not afraid to talk with other Brewers fans, be willing to wear cute outfits, and at least know the names of the better players. :)

Depending on how many ladies apply, we should be making the final decision by Friday, June 12th. So keep checking back to see who your lucky ladies are! To apply or ask any questions, email me at bk.mullen@hotmail.com by June 10th and make sure to include: your name, any recent photo of yourself, phone number, and a sentence or two telling us why we should chose you!

Good luck and Go Brew Crew!

  • "Favre is the swine flu of the NFL." Ouch!

As the rumors continue to circulate, one thing is for certain, Brett Favre remains one of the most unpredictable quarterbacks in the NFL. As one of the biggest Favre fans alive, even I'm getting tired of all the "media gossip" around, causing me to wait at least this long to put anything up about it. Too many sources and not enough straight fact... but I still want to keep you all in the loop!

The more I think about it though, the more I realize that he's just an athlete, doing what many athletes do all the time (well, besides the "to retire or not to retire" bit)! Tons athletes get traded, hang out in the free agent market, go to doctors, never want the best thing in their lives to end, and wonder if injury will allow them to continue... but not all are watched every second by the media.

So here's the scoop. Favre is reportedly talking to his doctors about using methods other than surgery to repair his bicep. At 39 years old, a complete and quick recovery after surgery is not as likely compared to, say, a 23 year old. Playing wouldn't be a huge deal if the injury wasn't so painful.

So, according to a source who talked to ESPN, he's looking at things such as cortisone injections, natural movements like light throwing, and biceps curls that might cause the tendon to release naturally. If the tendon releases and the pain subsides, Favre is virtually certain to play again. If he has surgery and his arm strength diminishes or the pain remains, he will remain retired, the source said.

Now we all saw Favre looking especially old during those cold months with the Jets, so what makes Minnesota any better? Well, the Metrodome for one! And with very few "freezing" away games, this old man might actually have a chance.

Lastly, as I was browsing the message boards on the Favre talk, these were some of the more PG comments (sorry Favre):

"Sources say there is already a special helmet being designed by scientists at MIT to fit Favre's massive ego."

"Brett Favre is the Swine Flu of the NFL. "

"dude as a packer fan im disappointed, and i dont think id ever hate brett farve until now, i dont care if he plays on any other team but not the bears lions and vikes! this is terrible but if he can play he will play enough said... "

"THIS JUST IN: An unnamed source said Favre took a dump today, and it resembled one of his most recent performances."

  • American Idol Backstage...

Imagine the most exciting day of your life… now stop and throw in some police escorts, a camera crew, a few Packer players, the mayor, and thousands of screaming fans… well that’s what Danny Gokey had on Friday.

Gokey, a top 3 finalist on American Idol, and former music teacher in Beloit, had quite the homecoming yesterday as he made his rounds through the city. From a tv station early that morning, to a mini-concert at the Summerfest grounds where the mayor declared it Danny Gokey day, and then a national anthem and first pitch at the Brewers game. Wow! Where do I sign up??

Here’s a few pictures from the concert to tide you over and give you a glimpse into the chaos! By Monday I’ll put up a video where you’ll see lots of screaming fans, a little bit of Danny, and quick interviews with Charlie Bell, Greg Jennings, Nick Barnett, and Ruvell Martin… and yes, I did ask what they think of the Brett Favre rumors.  :)

Some of Danny's biggest, er, smallest fans ready to go!  An eager crowd awaits! It was packed like this all the way back to the lake...no joke.  Teenage girls from across the state and beyond came with painted shirts, signs, and lots of screams. The were some of the cutest!  :)  Danny and Jamar arrive with their entourage backstage. Jamar almost made the top 36!  Danny meets some of the Packers! More to come... -your gridiron girl
