Dominic James Headed to Europe

I couldn't help but notice the Facebook status update from Dominic James early this afternoon, it simply said, "I'm Gone"....well, a few hours later the Milwaukee Bucks released the statement below, I hope to catch up to Dominic tonight for some comments...

Former Marquette University Standout to Play in Europe

The Milwaukee Bucks have requested waivers on guard Dominic James, General Manager John Hammond announced today.

“Dominic has an offer to play professional basketball overseas,” said Hammond.  “We were pleased with his performance this summer and in training camp, and we’re equally happy for this opportunity for him to play in Europe.”

Dominic James (5-11, 185) signed with the Bucks on September 28 after a four-year career at Marquette University where he ranks second in school history in games (129), second in assists (632), third in points (1,749) and fourth in steals (238). In his senior season he averaged 11.0 points, 5.0 assists, 3.4 rebounds and 2.1 steals in 29 games.
