We all have to remember that Aaron is in his rookie season as a starter. Has anyone gone back to compare the numbers on Brett during his rookie season as a starter with that of Aaron's? If you had, you wouldn't be shooting off you're mouths cause Aaron's numbers by seasons end will be BETTER than that of Favre's during his rookie season! I've got faith in Aaron, he's shown the toughness by playing thru an injury this year which he has gained the respect and confidence with his team mates and with us fans alike. There were times early in Brett's career i wanted him ousted out of Green Bay for all the boneheaded plays he tried to pull off, and look where that got him. Give Aaron a chance to become great. Cause we all know "Greatness" is in a career, not one season.

All i have to say to you is Amen! I am so disapointed in the Packers this year! It's easy to say well if Brett Favre were here we would be a few games better. While that may be true Aaron Rodgers hasn't played all that bad this year. He hasn't shown us that two minute drive to win a game yet. Aaron has played well though. I dont' know how to explain there down fall. When you look at the roster from last year and the roster this year not much of a differnce. Except for Brett Favre. So you have to lay it on the deffense. What happend? Last year they weren't a great deffense they were a bend don't break deffense. This year they are just breaking. We can't stop a highschool offense running game the way it looks. The thing that scares me the most is that the Vikings are getting better and so are the bears. The lions are still a long ways off. So you start looking for next year? Whats going to happen? That Packers need to get better and fast. We are 21 million under that cap is what i think i heard. Why don't we go out and get some free agents. Ted Thompson wants to build through the draft thats cool and all. We need more help than that. We have had more than enough chances at big name free agents. Just look back a couple years ago. Randy Moss was there and Favre wanted him. Jared Allen last off season. Not saying we could have gotten them but we could have taken a chance at them. It's pretty sad when on ESPN they talk about improving your team who you added and the big name before last season was Frank Walker! Like most packer fans i said who? This year was Brandon Chillar. Don't get me wrong he has played alright but not what we needed. I'm a huge packer fan i live and die by them. I get worried looking at the future. How we went from 13-3 and overtime away from the super bowl, to 5-8 and done is beyond me.
