But what is left to say? The Packers lost another close game in frustrating fashion.
You and Big Unit make this out to be a Marc Bulger v. Kurt Warner thing. For most Packer fans... it is not. See Units blog this date 12/30/08. Because he is drinking the MM,TT, and MM media kool-aid, he and other Wisconsin media people LOVE trashing#4 since TT sent him packing to the NYJ. Then if other call in or bloggers write some disparaging things about Aaron Rodgers, he and people like you want to jump all over them for not being "Packer Fans". Well, there is nothing that says you cannot root for #4 AND be loyal to the Green and Gold at the same time.

Yes A.R.F., I was at 3 of the 5 Green Bay home games in 1993 and sat in Section 03 (now 103) and saw it up close and personal. See, I'm old enough to remember that of the 8 regular season home games; 5 were played that year in Green Bay and 3 were played at Milwaukee County Stadium that year. He led them to a 9-7 record that season and got them into the playoffs where they beat the Lions in the wild card game and then lost to Dallas in the divisional round. No, I do understand that defense wins championships and in the offseason prior to the 1993 campaign we acquired "the minister of defense". Certainly, this team has no one of that ilk on defense for this '08 squad and A-Rod had an inferior defense for his first full season as the starter than #4.

If you want to roll out the stats comparison....... OK:

Farve '93: 19 TD. 24 INT. QB rating 72.2

A-Rod '08 28 TD 13 INT. QB rating 93.8

There you have it RodgersFan in black and white.

Again, just like Hawk Hunter said above if that is all your hanging your hat on for the QB of the GBP fine... that's your deal. I know that A-Rod would tell you the stats are fine, but give him the wins and losses stat every time.

I watched 5 of the 6 Green Package home games from Section 103 this season and DO want him to succeed and not be Brian Griese(followed Elway after he retired in Denver). He may or may not turn out to be a HOF QB but he can be a very good QB here in GB and lead them back to the playoffs in '09. See A.R.F., TT wanted to pull the plug on the '08 season as if 2007 was a total fluke. That there was no way this team (with the same personel in '08 that we had in 2007)could possibly get back to the NFC Championship game again.

I beg to differ w/ TT on that. That would have meant keeping #4 for one more year AND not trading Corey Williams to the Browns AND having Jon Ryan as OUR punter and not for the SeaTurkeys.

GO PACK GO!

Later......

Apparently not, because if you look back you will see the Golden Boy was not the hero you have etched in your brain, he sucked worse then Rodgers, so give the kid a break before you throw him to the lions. Its ridicules... Either your just a Brett Favre fan or your a true Packers fan who supports the team and will give our QB a few more starts before burning him at the stakes

There will be plenty of good assistants fired this year on the coat tails of their head coaches.
