Hope everyone had a good Fathers' Day weekend. I apologize for the lack of weekend updates. Has some family down here.
Apparently, many of our kids and significant others went shopping at the Packer Pro shop, as both ESPN and the official Packers website are reporting that
profits may be down a little,, but
We're still doing better than average. That's good to hear, especially with the collective bargaining negotiations looming in the not-to-distant future.
News for the season is that when Tampa Bay comes to town in week 9, they'll be sporting their old school uni's. That's right, sounds like the Orange will be making a return to Lambeau. Anyone else know that the guy on those old helmets was called "Bucco Bruce"? All according to the
pewter report. Nice name guys.
The sad news, Since I'm in Arkansas and can't access Twitter from work, I won't have a lot of updates throughout the day for and sessions today. But here's the schedule, according to Greg Bedard:
Monday, June 22
10:15 a.m. - Practice on Clarke Hinkle Field (open to public weather permitting)
3 p.m. - Practice on Clarke Hinkle Field (open to public weather permitting)
Tuesday, June 23
10:15 a.m. - Practice on Clarke Hinkle Field (open to public weather permitting)
3 p.m. - - Practice on Clarke Hinkle Field (open to public weather permitting)
Wednesday, June 24
10:15 a.m. - Practice on Clarke Hinkle Field (open to public weather permitting)
As is usual, people are expecting Tuesday's practice to turn into some sort of team building event. Wonder what Coach McCarthy has instore for them this year?
The official Packers site is running another one in the, "Game I'll never forget" series. This one features
Brandon Underwood.
That's all for now. I'll check back with any updates I receive. Take care!
