As for that 15 percent, can you believe that was in a Chad Ford column? Unbelievable, and certainly deserving of another Chad Ford watch post, if for no other reason than to remind myself that the Chad Ford Principle is still in effect.

Struck through over that part. It would seem Cleveland's priority would be to shed salary in any deal, not take on more. I can picture Ferry putting his foot down and saying "somebody has got to take Damon Jones in this deal."

There's actually no requirement that the Bucks take in a minimum amount of salary back--the rule is only that teams can't take back more than 125% + 100k of what they're sending out. So the deal works from the Milwaukee/OKC perspectives, but not from Cleveland's...that obviously means the whole thing doesn't work of course.

To get Mo, Cleveland needs to send out at least $6.6 million since 125% of that figure plus $100k is 8.353 million.
