Oh man, who the heck is Greg Landry and how did that get in there? A google search reveals that Greg Landry started 16 games at QB for the Detroit Lions in 1977 and 1978, the David Whitehurst years for the Pack (Dickey was hurt in 1978.) Not coincidentally in terms of how my brain apparently works, 1977 when the Bucks drafted Marques Johnson ... I was apparently transported back in time while remembering Marques, Brian, Junior, Quinn, Dave Meyers and the Green and Growing Bucks.

I'm relieved that my subconscious didn't call up TOM Landry, coach of the Dallas Cowboys, 1978 Super Bowl champs. If it had, I'd like to think I would have caught it with my waking eyes .... I despised those Cowboys.

Landry and Staubach, "America's Team" my ***. Debbie coulda done better.
