About ersan ilyasova;

Please keep watching him, he has the potential to surpass Hedo Turkoglu, similarly talented for drippling, shooting and better in defending, may start to be a role player with defensive energy plus good scoring potential, and may be evolve to a much better and complete player. Comparing him today and Hedo at his age, I see even bigger potential.

Nothing against Kurt Thomas, I just assumed he wouldn't fit the Bucks' rebuilding profile. And I agree with the 'five years ago' part, mainly.

I guess Ilyasova could start there, it just seems to me they mainly better not expect starter minutes out of Amir. Should be good off the bench (and he doesn't have to play center, so he'll be better than with the Pistons).

If there's little about Kurt Thomas you like, it's because you haven't looked hard enough. I've always wanted this guy to be a Buck, I just would have preferred it five years ago. Thomas is the consummate garbage-man; he does the intangible stuff that allows a team to succeed. He rebounds, he blocks, he's known as a top notch big defender and he's a true professional. Even if he doesn't pan out, he's gone next season. What's not to like?

I'm not so sure the Bucks are all that interested in Wilcox. He's not exactly in even Kurt Thomas' league as a banger, and the Thunder didn't exactly make keeping him around a priority. He makes about the same $ as Ridnour and Nick Collison ($6.5 mill) and a bunch of guys who played for the Sonics/Thunder - which means they've all been a bit overpaid for what they've delivered. Based on the 17 mpg he avg'd last year in OKCity and NY, I hope Wilcox isn't expecting a raise. He's one guy though, whose presence in the market should help Charlie V cash in.

Yeah, I'm really curious to see what the Bucks do with Ridenour. I assume they can match any reasonable offer on Sessions, so Luke is the odd man out. Seems like they should be able to get some banger in exchange. Or I wonder what the interest is on Chris Wilcox. He's unrestricted.
