In a lot of ways that would be pretty cool, but I also wonder how it would impact fantasy football... I guess we'll never know since they called the relegation idea unfeasible.

On the other hand, I've been sick of the Favre drama for months, so here are Post-It Note Paulie's top 6 (or so) stories from the week that was:

#6 - The Badgers held their Basketball Media Day this week. Buckingham U. Blogger was there and so was SportsBubbler with a boatload of video
#5 - The High School Play of the week - Just another example of the awesome range of SportsBubbler's state sports coverage
#4 - The Polish Pickle has issues with both ESPN and Favre.
#3 - The Packers D completely dominated Indianapolis at Lambeau Field last Sunday. It was the perfect way to go into the bye week and it sure was enjoyable from my seats in row 56.
#2 - The Brewers lost Jack Zduriencik to the Seattle Mariners. HUGE loss for the Brewer front office, but a great opportunity for Jack Z. Now Doug Melvin has even more work to do.
#1 - It's not sports-related, but it is my #1 moment of the week. I got engaged to a truly awesome woman who is foolish enough to think that a blog/sports/TV/indie music junkie is worth spending the rest of her life with. Sorry Gridiron Girl, I'm off the market. Now, keep your shirt on.

Of Montreal will be at the Pabst on Sunday night. I saw them at the Pitchfork Music Festival (I recommend that festival to anyone who loves cheap, non-crowded indie music festivals, btw) in Chicago in 2007. They put on quite the spectacle.
