Morning Coffee Dec 4th

First off, check out the 3 finalist in the Johnsonville Perfect Brat Recipe contest and vote!

Dan Gadzuric is ALIVE. He's finally earned one of his paychecks, well at least a very small percentage of his paycheck. I think if this team can get back to .500 before NYE there might be some real interest again in this club. I think people like that the team keeps fighting, but want to see some more wins before they get on the bandwagon. Having a full strength, healthy team is really going to help this team as they play a much weaker schedule. The Bucky Channel is bullish. Brew Hoop has a fine recap.

Watch the highlights.

A couple glaring omissions from yesterday's birthday column - the columns written by BrewTownBeat "Monday Morning Hangover" and The Bucky Channels "Winks Thinks" deserved being recognized and they slipped by mind. I also forgot one of my personal favorites, our Whack-A-Cub game. That never gets old.

Seriously, having Gus Johnson doing the Packers game on Sunday is going to be awesome.

The Onion Sports page is on fire today.

A judge has blocked the Williams bros. suspension.

If you haven't seen this buzzer beater yet, check it out.

Is it a lack of playmakers on the Packers?

Bernie's Crew has a well written review of JJ Hardy's 2008 season.

Rattler Radio goes over the new Timber Rattlers coaching staff.

What did we learn from the Big Ten/ACC Challenge? Indiana isn't good, North Carolina is really really good.

ESPN continues its quest for world domination.

Yao Ming - More than meets the eye!

Your morning hotness: Charlotte Jackson, the UK version of Erin Andrews, and possibly hotter. That link is well worth your time today.

Rumors and Rants has more hotness, but makes it depressing. This should lift your spirits.

Cazoogle compares the Bucks to Pam from the Office. (h/t BrewHoop)

Bad news for the Wave as they lose Marcio Leite before the season even starts.

As expected, Tyler Donovan was signed by the Milwaukee Iron yesterday.

Wonderful use of a Karate Kid style move

Santa is a jerk.

Last nights episode of Pushing Daisies was a reminder that it is a damn shame the show got canned. (fingers crossed that some network picks it up)

I found another song that was left off of the Top 10 Songs from the other day. I actually feel pretty guilty for missing this one. Matthew Sweet: Girlfriend

Personally, I'd love to see Puhing Daisies picked up by HBO, Showtime or Cinemax. They could take the edginess another step and it could be even better.

Of course, THOSE who don't have cable wouldn't be able to watch it, but the rest of us could enjoy it. You would think those who are regular panelists contributors to the TWC Roundtable would get the TWC All-In-One package for FREE in compensation in addition to the thousands they are paid to appear.

BTW Dan, I have Season One on DVD if you want to borrow it. You do have a DVD player, don't you?

I don't have a laserdisc player, but I do have a minidisc player, that I haven't used in about 8 years.

Thanks Deacon, we just finished season 1 last week.

I will gladly take Pam at this point.  Last year we would've gotten that funny but horrible Rosie terrorist hybrid picture.  Gross.

As I mentioned yesterday, Gus Johnson is my favorite. However, having him announce your team is a bad thing because he usually gets the unimportant games as he is CBS' number 4 or 5 play-by-play guy (which is so wrong, he should be #1).

For all the hockey fans...how about that Sean Avery? Classic quote! One of my favorite players because he is a decent scorer (pun not intended) and can also fight with the best of them.
