The week, well, it wasn't that bad;
But a better record, sure could've been had.

It's been a yo-yo between .500 and two over;
There is a feeling though that this team will soon be rolling in clover.

It's been a busy time over the last few days;
You'll have to forgive me if this column reads like it was written in a haze.

I apologize in advance.  This column will need to be short.  I usually put in the framework and jot down a few quick thoughts on Thursday night before the game.  But, it has been a hectic week here at Time Warner Cable Field.  The announcement of Dave Bush making a rehab start here, taping Timber Rattlers Field Pass for Sports 32, and a little promotion to Director of Media Relations has kept me hopping around the place.

Clinton runs in first two frames.

Valiant rally thwarted.

7/4; Wisconsin 2 @Burlington 1:

Watten was dealing.

Eight strong with six K's no walks.

Unearned run only mark.

7/5; Wisconsin 10 @Burlington 8:

Sanchez and Kjeldgaard

Three hits and a homer each.

Team two above par.

7/6; @Burlington 4, Wisconsin 2:

Melville wrote another

classic. Unfortunately,

he pitches for Bees.

7/7; Wisconsin 1 @ Burlington 1 (Suspended):

Steady rain all night

Game finally stopped in sixth

Restart in August

7/8; @Wisconsin 1, West Michigan 0:

Scarpetta was on

one hit, nine strikeouts, no runs

Lawrie drives in run

7/9; West Michigan 11 @Wisconsin 2:

Whitecaps beat Rattlers

for first time of the season.

Took out frustration.
