&lt;p&gt;Considering Brewer pitchers face opposing pitchers, you would think their fastball percentage would be slightly higher than an AL team.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I completely agree that Kendall is part of (not all) the problem. &amp;nbsp;There's an old theory about the fastball: &amp;nbsp;use it or lose it. &amp;nbsp;Guys that fall in love with offspeed pitches over time tend to lose velocity on the fastball. &amp;nbsp;A good example right now with the Brewers is Villanueva. &amp;nbsp;Now Villanueva has a great change, but his fastball is sitting in the 87-90 range. &amp;nbsp;When he came up from the minors as a starter in 06 and 07, he was often hitting 91-92.&lt;/p&gt;
