Re: Who should the Bucks Pick?
If the Bucks don't win the lottery, all the mock drafts have them taking this 6'10" SF from Italy. I think his name was Collardo or something like that. A friend of mine knows Drake Diener, and he is playing in the same Italian league as him this year, so he is trying to get a firsthand report from DD.
Beasley, Rose, and Love will probably all be gone by the time we pick otherwise.

Big guy who is good for chemistry and can bang inside. That's Kevin Love. As long as we don't trade up, that is the best case. No way can we afford to take a chance on talented underachieving freshmen who aren't ready for the NBA (who comprise all other projected lottery picks outside of Beasley and Rose).

I'm sorry but Kevin Love makes me nervous. Power forwards that don't play above the rim bring back nasty memories of Robert Traylor.

Have you seen Love play? He has one of the best face up jumpers in college. Nothing like Traylor who couldn't shoot a lick. Expect several deals. Mo, Redd, Simmons and CV will all be gone. Defense will be priority.

I REALLY like Kevin Love. The guy is a beast! He may not play above the rim, but neither did Larry Bird. Love's basketball IQ is huge. He and Bogut would make a formible frontline, with Yi becoming the SF he really is. I think Love and Bogut would make up in intelligence what they may lack in jumping ability.

I like Kevin Love, but isn't Andrew Bogut similiar? Hard to see them both on the floor at the same time. I like CDR from Memphis. A big man who can defend, and play guard or small forward. Beasley seems to be a head case. Westbrook and Collison are two small and slender to have real impact. Who's the big guy from Kansas? Liked him in the tournament.

Re: Who should the Bucks Pick?
Kevin Love is a tremendous college player who's game doesn't translate to the NBA. If they get a top two pick from the lottery it's an obvious choice. Rose first, Beasley if he's gone. After that it gets trickier. OJ Mayo may have underachieved in his one year in college, but so did Baron Davis. He's a very similar type player. Bayless from Arizona is an athletic point who could really develop in the NBA, but he's more of a project. Eric Gordon seems too much like Ben Gordon for my liking. Then again people were saying Dwayne Wade was too much of a tweener coming out of college. Westbrook from UCLA is a 6-4 point guard who can really defend and is probably anxious to get the chance to handle the point all by himself.
Wanting the Packers to fail so they fire TT is the same rationale as your favorite candidate losing the presidential race, and hoping for anarchy to ensue until the entire government is overthrown through military force.

ATLANTA:we have way to much money stock piled at the 4 and 5 to take beasly. we need a pg, i c a potential superstar in Rose, espn does too That's actually okay, because Beasley projects as a 3 in the NBA.

Re: Who should the Bucks Pick?
if they stay at 7 or around there, i think the pick should be russel westbrook, he should be available and he is a tall, athletic point guard who plays d, what a novelty.

Re: Who should the Bucks Pick?
If the bucks win the lottery they should pick of course derrick rose. If not it's between oj mayo, jerryd bayless, deandre jordan, anthony randolph, javale mcgee, cj giles or russell westbrook. I would NOT pick up kevin love in the first round simply because he is not ready for the nba, look at dude he soft u think he really can play against these pf's in the nba? He has way to much hype around him trust me he will be a bust!!! i would'nt take no player from overseas because it's gonna take a while for them to develope into decent players over here and they generally be to soft to compete with the comp over here.

Kevin love is far from being a beast fam! U really think bogut and love would be a formible frontline? WRONG they will be the softest frontline in the nba bro and they both or athelticly challenged. teams will come right at us in the paint with these two guarding the rim. Im not raciest but we don't need two soft white guys for our bigs, black guys tend to be more atheltic and better players.

We need to take Rose if we have a shot. I'd take him over Beasley
That's funny! Beasley is the force we need inside! YI is not a power forward! He isn't anywhere strong enough and he floats around the outside too much. We have MO at the point. Until he is traded, we have MO at the point with Sessions in the wings. Rose is not Chris Paul. Eric Gordon is another Ben Gordon type player. A shooter and little else. Redd will be dealt. Mo could be dealt to Miami along with our #1 to move up. We need to focus on defense. Larry Harris was too busy looking at offensive stats and paid little attention on defense and team chemistry. The only guy untouchable is Bogut.
Boy No! bogut is a liability and he is touchable. He play so ugly and sloppy its crazy, his footwork is nasty, his hook shot well hook scoop is uggh! I dont know how many times i said uggh when i seen bogut do a post move! Trade him now im tellin you, get a draft pick for him!!

Re: Who should the Bucks Pick?
if the Bucks can't get Rose or Beasley, who should go 1-2, then they need to draft BIGGEST need and that is DEFENSE, so the man to get is Brooke Lopez fron Stanford, and it doesn't hurt that this kid can rebound and score also, wow! he was unstoppable against MU in the tournament.
