I'm not so sure that shouldn't have been ruled an out.  That ball didn't come out until Hart started to raise his glove.

I wonder if Corey or Ned shouldn't have discussed that one a little bit with the umps.

Yosty (YO-stee) n. A collection of games that the Brewers have lost , where you can look at a piece or pieces of management by Ned Yost and reasonably and logically conclude (based on conventional baseball wisdom and factual information available at the time) that he should have done something differently that could, along with other factors, possibly have changed the outcome of the game.

Wow what a wild play! Mil2 in the same breath you say Hall is fast then you rip us for over rating his speed. Wait until Rickie actually does something before you crow.

hall is fast, just a little dumb on the bases sometimes.

I meant to say Hart. Sorry Mil2

ah, hart is fast...whats mil2 talking about?

I know why the Brewers have batted Hart fifth, but he also seems to have his lost his HR power.

If he doesn't pick it up, I'd rather see him bat 2nd behind Gwynn... how would this lineup be?

    Gwynn

    Hart

    Braun

    Fielder

    Hall

    Weeks

    Hardy

    Pitcher

    Kendall

i like hart in the 5 spot. got a guy who can get on base or knock  in a run after braun and fielder are up. damn corey that was tough to hang on to.
    NO NO NO NO...

That lineup is not functional according to their skills! No no no....

Hart needs to stay where he is! He is not a top of the order hitter nor does he want to be. They asked him that...He can be a run producer and a guy who can run in the middle of the order!

You dont move Corey Hart because he will be pitched differently...leave him alone and right the hell where he is! The guy who you move around is perhaps....Gwynn.

If you lead off Gwynn in the NL you bat JJ second and Weeks third and move Braun back to 5th to protect Prince and in between Hart and Fielder.

    Gwynn

    Hardy

    Weeks

    Fielder

    Braun

    Hart

    Kendall

    Hall

    Sheets

But if Cameron is still in the mix all that is scratched. Or you could leave Weeks right the heck where he is and bat Gwynn 2nd...and JJ #3.

"If you get to the playoffs, yeah, you've done your job," acting manager Dale Sveum said. "But if you lose in the playoffs, you didn't finish the job."

Kind of surprised Shouse wasn't brought in to pitch to Miles. He's 6 for 8 in his career against Torres.

Every time Ned fails, it's not second guessing, just because he failed.

Really?  So you've never questioned something that Yost did which really wasn't that strange but happened to fail?

As lame as the defense has been this year, it has been really good today. A lot of great plays that have saved them for big Cardinal rallies.

it shouldnt have been an out. it was coming out as his glove whipped around. its no different then a 1b dropping a throw, but im probably wrong

Would have liked to see JJ sell out and dive for that tag.  Looked like he might have been able to get him.

Radio I've always liked your idea of batting Braun leadoff. Prince can bat third and they each get more PA's. All those doubles might not go to waste.

Did I say that?  It seems regardless of how bad a move Ned makes, when it fails, people always defend it by labeling it "second guessing".

what the hell...at least shouse is coming in and ned had the sense to have him up. this is seriously discouraging, you cant find one guy who can cut through the bottom of a teams order?
