2010 Recruiting class is in place

With Vander Blue from Madison Memorial and now Top 5 National player Evan Anderson from Eau Claire, both spots are filled. This looks like a major catch for Bo. Anderson is only 16 but was being recruited heavily by most major programs namely Kansas. He says a call to Brian Butch made up his mind. Very good news. Bo once again keeps the best talent in state and we have a potential all-American locked up.

I guess that leaves Maymon without a UW scholarship, unless one opens up.

He's a total flake.... Bo never recruited him.  It sure is nice having one of the last people in the coaching profession with some integrity running the state's flagship/elite program.

He must have been, Buzz got him for Marquette. Were there some big issues with him? He seemed like he was the real deal and only a Junior. Bo went with Vander Blue instead, they must knows something.

Read the interviews with his old man..... it is comical to think of him calling Bo at home complaining about little Jeronne's playing time.  LOL.  I bet that would go over well.

MU basically sold their soul to get him.... a top 50-100 kid.... it actually looks a little like an act of desperation.  That being said, the kid has a lot of talent/upside, especially since MU has ben struggling mightily in recruiting the last few years.

abe are you a marquette fan over here, too? your rhetoric would tell me no, but I understand that your words don't always indicate your true feelings. so........? please explain how MU "sold it's soul" to get him. Please also explain how signing the reigning state player of the year, from the hometown of your biggest state rival is an act of desperation. I would like an explanation from you, because I know that you are in "the know."

When you start making top 50-75 recruits promises regarding playing time/offensive touches before they step on campus, that is an act of desperation and basically selling the inegrity of the program out.  Buzz knew they were in trouble from the program's lack of ability to attract any live bodies over 6'-7" and sitting with only one top 100 guy in the last 3 classes.... his back was against the wall and he had to do something.

What does the fact that Maymon was from Madison matter?  I'm not sure I could spell this out much more clearly... UW DIDN'T WANT HIM.... The Maymons were publicly begging for an offer from UW and got turned down.  Like you said, he is the reigning player of the year and he was from Madison and Bo Ryan STILL didn't want him... doesn't that make you stop and think?  They certainly know more about him than anybody... a kid on Maymon's team that is younger has already committed to UW.

I'm a fan of both UW and MU.... as I've always said.

if our fellow badger fans believe you, then they must believe me too. I'm much more positive about bucky than you are about MU. Go Badgers, Go Golden Eagles!

The truth is that he's not a fan of MU. He's just a gutless liar when he says he is. The only thing he likes about MU is that their discussion group exists and gives him the opportunity to slam them anonymously whenever his devious mind gets the urge.
