    He spent parts of three seasons adding up to about two full seasons at AA. It definitely is time for this.
    "Melvin may have gotten this franchise out of a hole, but it is painfully clear that this clown cannot build a playoff team. How many more years are you willing to let Melvin continue to trot a team that has no plate disipline, bad basrunning, bad late inning pitching, and contiually chokes when its on the line? Melvin has no clue when it comes to hitters and it shows. Melvin must go if this team is to ever makes the playoffs again.:"

    I have always liked Hammond and think he has a chance to help the Crew at the end of the year. His first start at AAA  yielded some good numbers, 6 innings, 1 run, 0 BB's and 4 K's, plus he picked two runners off of first. When he was first drafted he was picked to rise quickly through the system. It's taken him a little longer to get to AAA than expected, but at least he is making progress.

    I really like the prospects for Parra, Narron, and Hammond....

     Gorzelanny, Duke, and Maholm anyone?

    In all seriousness I think these guys could be that good. Bout time some Starting pitching comes through the Brewers organization.

    Itd be cool to see these guys be the 3-5 starters in the near future.....
