    He spent parts of three seasons adding up to about two full seasons at AA. It definitely is time for this.
    When did having zero intellectual curiosity about the world -- and a corresponding sneering contempt for those who have any -- become a positive character trait instead of a flashing warning signal that this person is a stubborn dummy?

    I have always liked Hammond and think he has a chance to help the Crew at the end of the year. His first start at AAA  yielded some good numbers, 6 innings, 1 run, 0 BB's and 4 K's, plus he picked two runners off of first. When he was first drafted he was picked to rise quickly through the system. It's taken him a little longer to get to AAA than expected, but at least he is making progress.

    I really like the prospects for Parra, Narron, and Hammond....

     Gorzelanny, Duke, and Maholm anyone?

    In all seriousness I think these guys could be that good. Bout time some Starting pitching comes through the Brewers organization.

    Itd be cool to see these guys be the 3-5 starters in the near future.....
