    jerryd bayless

How could the bucks pass up on jerryd bayless who fell to them or dj augustin when they need a point guard badly because Maurice Williams isn't a point guard. Why did they draft Joe Alexander when they traded for RJ and already have desmond mason. Joe's just going to die on the bench and become another adam morrison.

Let me guess, because he's white?

    Good one.

    Their games are completely different.

I don't think he will die on the bench you can see that mason will be traded because of his high cap number he will be thrown in with Mo and mayb CV for a legit PF.  Also i think he's just going to take a vetern like kevin Ollie or take a flyer on livingston, but i think they have big plans for sessions

Augustin is too small, basicaly another TJ Ford with a shot first mentality.  Bayless obviously didnt appeal to the Bucks as much as Alexander.  Who says he will be buried on the bench??  He he play the 4 position and since he DOESN'T have to start he can cause matchup problems coming off the bench.  Plus has the intangibles the team is looking to infuse in the team...toughness, pride and a willingness to work hard to improve both himself and the team...its very possible there will be more changes to the roster but if Skiles can change to chemistry of this team maybe what we have can work together, if not then one of the guards will be moved.

i listened to the draft via 1530, the commentators were pretty p1ssed when the bucks passed on bayless.  i was too at the time because it looked like a steal to get him at 8, but there must be something we dont know.  the pacers snagged bayless picks later and later on shipped him to portland....

    ehhhh, im content with alexander

Me too.  I think Bayless will be a good player, but I don't know what anyone is seeing in him that doesn't make them think Mo Williams the second.
