    How is Mike Jones throwing?

I noticed the last game Mike Jones pitched was a start at AA. He went 5.0 I with 3 H, 1 R, 1 BB amd 0 K. It was his longest outing of the year. He's pitched 41 innings this year, more than the 28 he pitched all of last year.

I saw him pitch in rookie ball at Ogden and was real impressed with his free and easy delivery. He has an good fastball with movement. His high water mark forinnings was 2002 when he pitched 138 innings for Beloit.

Beginning in 2003 Mike has had a series of injuries including the dreaded SLAP lesion.

He appears to be healthy this year. His command is off, 33 BB in 41 I. That's to be expected given his lask of pitching over the last few years.

I have asked this question on JSOnline and on the Brewer home page, but no one has answered it, How is he throwing? Is he pain free? Can he still reach the mid 90's on the gun? He he on a strict number on innings he can pitch this year?

If any one has any info on how Mike Jones is pitching I would appreciate it.

MIke is really struggling. It is a real shame. He and Manny Parra were the two best pitching prospects in the system at the same time. I thought they were going to be a lethal duo (a lot of scouts and baseball people did also).... Jones and Parra got hurt about the same time. Parra was able to fight back and MIke just hasn't been as fortunate. The guy had a plus-plus fastball and threw 3 more quality pitches. Not like Gold and Neu whatever (the other guy who just threw hard), Jones had everything to be a top of the rotation star.
