not quite.  i disagree with everyone on this.  Some say bogut is a top tier center, some say he's a plotter.

1) bogut is not a top tier center, period end of story, BUT hes progressing alot and maybe after these season ill eat my words

2)He is fairly good, i mean come on, players like Howard/duncan/garnett are EXTREMELY rare, especially howard and garnett

3)to have a good team, u gotta spend, Jeff suppan was not worth his big contract, bobby simmons wasn't worth his, Gadzuric wasn't either, But we weren't gonna sign them if we didn't over pay, walk outside and look, nobody wants to play in MILTOWN.

4)people need to show some love to illgauskas... he's good as fuuuuuuuuu

Well seeing as his contract is only worth 60 million and it only kicks up to 72 with all-star appearances and such, I'd say it's worth it.

That the first I've heard of that, which makes it a bit easier to swallow.  But I'm sure someone have given him 10 million so Milwaukee overpaid to keep him.  I think the bucks will be safe with that extra 12 million.

Next year he gets whatever he was going to make which was like 6.9 million, then the year after that his 5 year 60 million contract going.  If he makes the all-star games and/or hits certain levels of play it escalates and could be worth 72 million.  So the only way he can be worth the full contract is if he proves he is worth the whole contract.

he is worth every damn penny, end of story.

Worth it. In today's NBA? Yeah, a 23 year old 3rd year center who puts up 15/10/2, can pass and is continuing to develop his game is worth $12 mil a year. Just hope he doesn't get hurt.

Add in he's a nice guy off the court. he does a lot of charity work and he is a team player. thats where hammond sees the money getting used as well. being in australia its often spoke about the coin that he earns but how good a guy of the court. a natural leader!! 

How a person who average 14&9 deserve to get paid 12mill a year? He's not that good to get money like that. I guess you really have to over pay players to stay here huh?

I believe he deserves to be paid at least like Sam Dalembert...plus he's only 23.
