Mo Williams to Miami trade idea

    1. Obviously, Miami like Mo Williams as they tried to sign him last year AND they are in DESPERATE need of a point guard as Dwayne Wade has stated that he does NOT want to handle point guard duties this year.

    2. The Bucks are lloking for a veteran power forward whom they can rotate at PF with Villanueva and play at PF when Villanueva gets minutes at small foward.

     3. The Bucks would LOVE to get rid of Gadzurics contract.

    Check this trade out  http://games.espn.go.com/nba/features/traderesult?players=2184~510~1710~518~2178&teams=15~15~14~14~14&te=&cash=

Miami gets: Mo Williams, Desmond Mason and Dan Gadzuric

Milwaukee gets: Udonis Haslem and Shawn Marion

Our lineup would look like this:

    Center:  Andrew Bogut  (Malik Allen)

Power Forward:  Charlie Vilanueva (Udonis Halem) (Luc Mbah a Moute)

Small Forward:  Richard Jefferson  (Shawn Marion) (Joe Alexander)

Shooting Guard:  Michael Redd (Charlie Bell)

Point Guard:  Ramon Sessions (Tyrone Lue)

    This would allow:

    A. Alexander a year to develop and be ready for more minuted next year when Marion becomes a free agent.

    B. Give the Bucks much need cap room next year when Shawn marion's 17 million contract comes off the books.

you would have to add cv and a no.1 then they might stop laughing at you.

Miami would do Mo Williams for Udonis Haslip straight up IN A MINUTE if it weren't for the fact that trade CAN'T go through because of salary cap reasons. They will be starting Beasley at PF and don't need Haslip. Marion was on the trade block ALL summer and only has ONE year left on his $17 million contract. Desmond also has one year left and is a serviceable SF / SG.  I don't think they would laugh at this trade and something similiar could be coming REAL soon! I'll agree that we MIGHT have to throw in a 1st round pick to make this happen but so far, this trade could be made within salray cap guidelines.

They would never, ever in a 100 years take on gadz contract.  The rumors on marion are along the lines of artest, odom, and okafor.  If they would do mo and haslem, why would they add marion for gadz and mason?  1 none of those players are artest, odom, and okafor. 2 Miami is gearing up for the 2010 offseason, and it would be impossible to move gadz without taking on another big bad contract.  The only reason Mo works is, because he is servicable and his contract would be down to I believe 2 years when the 2010 offseason comes, easy to move for mo.  Haslem would be great at PF for the bucks.  CV gives the shooter/speedster, Haslem gives you the banger type player.  This would give skilies two different options for PF, and make match ups hard for the other teams.  If you wanted to live in a dream world by getting marion, you mine as well pray like i am, that we trade for okafor who is now on the trading block.  Mo, Cv and a first for Okafor, we could add more if we did a sign and trade.  But as right now okafor only would make 7 or 8 mill next year so it ties are hands a little bit.  If it was a sign and trade I'd add a guy like Mason who's contract would be done by the end of the year.
