Sportsbubbler Game Get-together (Attention Jim)
I know this never has worked, but I'm getting together a family trip to get down for the Houston series (Aug 18-20). I figure one of these games would be a perfect opportunity for a forum game, especially considering the Brewers late season games actually mean something besides draft position.
I guess I'll take the early lead on this, and would like to know which of these games would be the best one (Monday's and Tuesday's are at night, Wednesday is in the afternoon.), and who would seriously be interested. I was also hoping that someone that's connected (hello Jim and Dan!) could perhaps get a deal on tickets, suite, etc. Hey, if the Brewers and the JS are going to push the Bubbler, why not reward a little those that frequent the site?
Hope this finally gets the ball rolling...

Cheezheadz - I would normally be all about a Brewers game with all the guys from the forum...but I'm going to be out of town for that series. It's a great idea though!

I'm not sure how many times you can go to the joke-well with the chickens, but I'm still laughing, my boss still hates me, and our brief is still due.
I'll be the "gay" one actively searching for Ned Yost's ass to kiss.

There's something funny about using poultry as a means for exchange that cracks me up.
It reminds me of all these great little passages in Aristotle's ethics where he talks about trading two beds for a house, and other types of exchange in Athens.
Can you imagine going to a realor tomorrow and offering two beds?

I'll bet you could get two-bedroom in North Minneapolis for a couple of king size sleepnumbers.

See. Now I would have guessed that was Einy.
Yosty (YO-stee) n. I've had stranger offers made than that.
If you want, I can try that at my closing tomorrow.

It's going to be tough getting tickets. Standing room only for the next 4 series at home. No other tickets available online. Just checked. WOW.

Has to be long in advance for something in late August. The Friday game against the Pirates is open. Not much else.

Just FYI, that Tuesday, August 19th game has tickets available, and a bunch together in the left field bleachers. Still anyone interested?

I am in. Gotta love having summers off still as a professional.
