Rodgers seems up to the challenge

Rodger seemed confident yesterday when he was interview.  The Vikings threats didnt phase him and he's eager to play.

    He showed a nice attitude.

Let's hope that confidence translates into solid play on Monday. Trash talk via the media is one thing...seeing The Williams' boys and Allen in your face is something totally different.

Our receivers will get open - if Rodgers gets the ball out on time we'll be OK.

It's not like he's out there alone...

Its all about protection, Rodgers has proved he can deliver the ball nicely.  Still don't like that we will have inexperienced backs protecting the blitz on 3rd down, Jackson looked horrible in the preseason picking up the blitz.  Rodgers will get blamed for "holding the ball to long", "presence in the pocket", yada yada...but the guy needs a few seconds to get rid of it.  Be prepared for teams to blitz early and often with our inexperienced QB, Line, and backfield.

Of course Rodgers will be blamed. It is his job to recognize and get rid of the ball is it not or audible? Brett didn't get sacked very often and since mgmt. believes Rodgers can handle it by making him the starter(you back mgmt.) there really are no excuses. Ted can share the blame since he put him in this position by still not having a reliable line for 3 seasons now.

Cheezer's thought to live by courtesy quiksdraw: I fully support the decision of general Custer to attack the indians...oops!

Agreed. Let's just hope he has time to see them. :)

If I am not mistaken Lord Favre used to get sacked a lot when he first started out as well.  In fact he is 7th all time in being sacked.

    Linky

There are other interesting totals in there as well, feel free to take a gander at a young Brett Favre and his sackability.

I'm ready for a different chance, I've seen his show for a decade, and it's gotten old, and every episode ends the same, with the gun slinger shooting the wrong guy. -aegisfc August 2008

I will not be Packer Fan again til Ted Thompson and Mark Murphy are fired. Which wont be long after that cuz out team will fall apart and all out good players will want out of Dodge.I'd rather have Mike Sherman, Ray Rhodes, Lindy Infante or any other old Packer's Brass before rooting for team run by arrogant ungrateful ingrates. At least they were trying to to what was best for the team. Not what is best for the egos." Ace_Maverick July 2008

And let's not forget that it was Favre at the helm when they went 4-12 a few years back.  If some give him all the credit for 13-3, he has to take the blame for 4-12, you can't have it both ways.  And let's not forget the most important stat of all- Favre-1 Super Bowl win, Rodgers-0.  If and when the Pack win one with Rodgers, he's tied the MOST important stat.  He doesn't have the shadow of 4 rings cast on Young by Montana, or 4 by Bradshaw on Malone.  Good post as usual wcheezer.

The Vikes couldn't stop the slant and the WC passing offense last year. No reason to think they can this year either. The quick passing game negated their vaunted front four last year, and if Grant is feeling good, once the pass softens them he should do some damage.

Oh goody, another asswipe with the thoughts I have multiple logins.  For your information asswipe, the Jsonline boards were imported here, so the creation dates on many accounts are probably the same day.

But since your too stupid to figure it out.  Go ahead, keep thinking I need two logins.  After all I AM the REAL Lamboo.
