Fathers at Beermakers Game #3 Peavy v Sheets

    Brewers take on Peavy

The Brewers have been struggling all week offensively so they certainly have their work cut out for them tonight against San Diego's Jake Peavy, one of the best pitchers in the NL.

Here are the lineups for the 6 p.m. game at Miller Park:

    2B Rickie Weeks
    SS J.J. Hardy
    LF Ryan Braun
    1B Prince Fielder
    RF Corey Hart
CF Mike Cameron (Scratched for Kapler?????)
    3B Craig Counsell
    C Jason Kendall
    RHP Ben Sheets

    RF Brian Giles
    SS Luis Rodriguez
    3B Kevin Kouzmanoff
    1B Adrian Gonzalez
    LF Chase Headley
    CF Will Venable
    C Josh Bard
    2B Matt Antonelli
    RHP Jake Peavy

    -------------------------------------------------------

So Brandon Webb has appently been attending the Ben Sheets Memorial Ace Pitcher Choking In A Big Game Versus A Rival Academy (that's the BSMAPCIABGVARA) because he gave up 7 ER in 5 2/'3 versus the Dodgers today.

Jeeze, someone is going to come along and not call him a "true ace" if he isn't careful.

Webb just wants to keep the Cy Young race close. He knows if he gets too many wins past 20 it will be no contest.

    HA HA! BALLS!

Trenni's obviously not on top of her game if she thinks that we may not know that Benny has never made it to 13 wins.

    It's not just you.

It's amazing to consider just how much he's improved since the begining and then look at where that improvment has him: Slightly less painfully awkward.

Davey Nelson makes perfect sense to Freeway.

You reminded me, I wonder how Santo is doing in the middle of this slide.

Hardy hasne't been very sure handed lately....

Still manages to make most of the plays, though.

I would have ordered Sheets to hit Kouzmanhoff in the knee, limiting his range.

Patience, he hasn't had to turn a DP yet.

Jake Peavy's lack of run support has nothing to do with why he has a great ERA and a 9-9 record.

    He's just not clutch enough.

Prince "I don't need no slugging" Fielder is up.

My wife is complaining that he looks sloppy with his baggy uniform, and that might be why he's not hitting well.
