Rodgers looked solid again. Just needs to get rid of the ball a little faster, even if no one is open. Throw it at their feet if you have to, but when your internal clock goes off, time to get rid of the ball. Grant just doesn't seem to be looking for the cutback lanes. He did once or twice early on, but he doesn't seem to be the same RB that he was last year. Who would have thought you would see Deshawn (sp?) Wynn on the field this week. Defense played a great game. Granted, the Seahawks didn't put up much of a challenge, but hopefully this turns the season around for them. Rookie Jeremy Thompson got some playing time and looked OK. Love the handshake celebration. Collins looks like a new player this year. Woodson better damn well be in the Pro Bowl this year. This was a game they should have won, and did. Let's hope we can get Bigby and the gang healthy for the Colts on Sunday. Manning and company seem to have their swagger back. We need two things to slow them down. Pressure on Manning, and pressure on Manning. After that, we need more pressure on Manning. He isn't mobile with his bad knee, and get in his face he will crumble.

Actually, we need a third thing to slow them down--sustained drives by our offense.

The Colts defense is not the same without Sanders. They can be had. Freeney scares the bajezus out of me though. But yes, sustained drives would be nice.

The Packers won a game they needed to win and should have won.
AR is tougher than a lot of folks realize (especially the dolts who called him "Sally" before the season started).
Wood deserves a spot in the Pro Bowl.
Dang, I still like it when the Pack beats Holmy, regardless of when, where, and how.

Normally Freeney would not scare me that much, but with the play of Clifton this year, it's hard to see them not leaving a back in to chip him and throw off his timing.

Agree with these good points. A big test coming up for the Packer's defense coming this week.

Pound the football, and control the clock.
I'm ready for a different chance, I've seen his show for a decade, and it's gotten old, and every episode ends the same, with the gun slinger shooting the wrong guy. -aegisfc August 2008

I will not be Packer Fan again til Ted Thompson and Mark Murphy are fired. Which wont be long after that cuz out team will fall apart and all out good players will want out of Dodge.I'd rather have Mike Sherman, Ray Rhodes, Lindy Infante or any other old Packer's Brass before rooting for team run by arrogant ungrateful ingrates. At least they were trying to to what was best for the team. Not what is best for the egos." Ace_Maverick July 2008

And do not let the words "run" and "left" collide in the same sentence in the playbook. ;D

I wonder if MM was trying to get some good work on that side of the field. If memory serves it took about week 7-8 before the running game really takes off. I would hate that if that is the case. Then again by showing that on film the Colts may prepare for something that wont show up.

1st and 10, Packers 20 yard line, I-formation Grant and Hall in the backfield, Rodgers under center, Jennings and Driver split left and right, Lee on the line. Handoff Grant, cuts to the right side...big hole, the entire Colts defense drifted left, Grant across the 30, 35, 40, right sideline 45, 50, across the 40, to the 30, 20, 10, touchdown Green Bay! Post game: "Well, we studied the Packers game film and we just were not prepared for that. I must say, running to the right side is something that we just did not pick up on from their last few games. You've gotta give credit to the Packers coaching staff for throwing that wrinkle in there"
