I've got nothing against Romo personally but I'm not shedding a tear for those cowpies right now.  I get nauseated when I hear all the love those clowns get = America's Team.  Please.  :-p

Its to hard to believe Romo is out 3 or 4 games specially if Johnson struggles. Brett played with a broken thumb and I would like to  think how much a gamer Romo is that he will not let a pinkie stand in his way.

Different fingers function differently on the football in the throwing motion. Example, if it's his index finger, you won't be able to release the ball barely at all. The Thumb is used more for balance. Brett got lucky it was his thumb. Other QB's have also played with broken thumbs.

Its obvious different fingers function differently but to say the thumb is used for balance is just idiotic. Have you ever thrown a football? Go out in your yard tonight and throw a ball and tell me if you can throw the ball with thumb removed, then try the other fingers one at a time and tell me which is the most important. If you can't squeeze the ball you can't throw. Some of you guys just amaze me.

I'm a QB every Sunday at 5:00 for a 10 on 10 league. The thumb is used more for balance when the ball is in your hand. But different players have different motions. Romo has a motion where all of the pressure is on the pinkie when he pulls the ball back. Some players don't have that motion, like myself. Brett uses the thumb more for balance because his hands are so big..

No reason for you to be rude and condescending. You are not the football throwing police.

Holy crap, dsilby.  You can't really be debating with gb.  I stand firm right now telling you that he is right. Always right.  Please move on.

I just realized that Puddy. I tried explaining it the best I can, but clearly he is the only one right about this and all topics.

No, but they did all sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
