    Yao could miss all of next year, and maybe done for good.

    wow that sucks both for yao and houston,  do they get some kind of cap relief if yoa will not play all year?

    ummm all I know is if he's out for a calendar year insurance covers it

    If after that they can petition the league league to try and get his salary off the books, but the insurance would still cover it. 

    But he could come back, like the Darius Miles situation

    I saw on ESPN that it may not be as serious as people may think. Hopefully its not.

     That is bad news for the NBA.  Good news for australia who play china in a three game seies next month( no bogut,mills,nielson and anderson. we were going to get hammered).

    This is what I have been saying what I saw on ESPN last week. They have been saying this last week that the treatment on his foot has not been responding to treatment and there is no timetable for his return. This does mean something, it means they dont know what else to do. Obviously he cant play with it like it is.

     HOU traded a 2nd and cash to ATL for the rights to Australian f/c David Anderson.

    This is not a bad trade for HOU. giving buggar all for one of the top players in europe.
