And Bosio is the pitching coach at Nashville, maybe he's ready for a return.  Sheets, Bosio and Cappy in the second half.  At least two of those guys put together a decent season.

Let's just forget about Sheets and the unpleasant memories he left behind

I have very pleasant memories of Ben Sheets....

maybe not quite as many as I would like, but they're just about all pleasant.

Did you work as a temp in a Gynecologist's office or something?

"Ben Sheets has a vagina" jokes always seems very fresh.  I'm glad you never work on new material.
Baseball is a game of the long season, of relentless and gradual averaging-out. Irrelevance—since the reference point of most individual games is remote and statistical—always threatens its interest, which can be maintained not by the occasional heroics that sportswriters feed upon but by players who always care; who care, that is to say, about themselves and their art. Insofar as the clutch hitter is not a sportswriter's myth, he is a vulgarity, like a writer who writes only for money.

For many of us, Sheets' tenure here was one big letdown after another. He would always turn up with some lame injury whenever he was really needed.

I cannot see him coming back here at this point, given the whole history between him and the fans.

...let alone him and the training staff.

CC took the spot of Brewers ace away from Sheets last year and being the baby he is he wanted out because he couldn't have it his way.  He doesn't need to ever put on a Brewers uniform again - he's too much of a risk for us to take and we can't guarantee his health.  He used to be a good pitcher when he first came up, but in my opinion, he's just a has-been now.

And I find it unoriginal and offensive. To each his own.

+1 on the "unoriginal" but that doesn't really offend me, per se.

I posted this on the game thread, but here is more news on Ben Sheets.

It's called the "shocker" and some girls are actually into it.

Its going to be interesting if Sabathia and Sheets are both not pitching for a good amount of time this season. Losing them both may not have been a bad thing.

Ty Cobb: "I believe I can truthfully say that I can hit equally well into either right or left field and generally at will. ... I will claim that when I am going right, I can drive four out of five fast balls within fifteen feet of where I want them to go."
