    Josh Childress

Jsonline is reporting that the Bucks are having a meet-and-greet with restricted Free Agent, Josh Childress. It would be difficult to reel in Childress because he is a restricted free agent and technically is still property of the Atlanta Hawks. A sign and trade would be needed, but it isn't clear who or what the Hawks are looking for. I would offer up Redd and Ridnour for Joe Johnson and Childress. The Hawks need a scorer and a point guard to replace Bibby if he does intend to leave Atlanta. I would even consider trading Jennings to Atlanta for Childress and Johnson. If this work out, maybe we could sign ZaZa?

     Zaza
     Childress
     Johnson

Totally agree Wisco, Joe Johnson is in the 2nd tier of stars in the NBA.  Somewhere in the top 15 of the best players in the league.  I would guess he is untouchable.

I would not be surprised that we get the rights for Childress from Atlanta in a trade.  I would think that the Sessions deal would have to be done first. Childress would have to agree to play for the bucks and thats why he has tried out for us already.  He will get the playing time that he wants with us.  I would not be surprised that a deal is in place already pending the Sessions deal.

If you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice

    LMAO!

Go somewhere fast and have a seat! LOL....are you kidding me!?

The Hawks are set. They don't need to deal with us! They just acquired Jamal Crawford and have an excellent young nucelus. They don't have to make a deal at all. Picking up BJ Mullens was another boon for them.

The Hawks and Memphis are two teams who totally transformed themselves in the last two weeks. They don't need our help. In fact, if Mike Bibby was smart, he would sign there for one year and make a run and re-enter the free agent market unrestricted next Summer in 2010.

They would be better off moving Childress for expirings. If would have to be a three way deal not a straight up one I believe. And I don' t think the Bucks have any interests in ZaZa Pachulia at all.

If you want to move Redd there which makes no sense whatsoever for them, you better bring back Joe Smith not Joe Johnson.

“My main goal is coming out here, making the playoffs, getting my teammates involved and trying to bring the winning back to Milwaukee,” Jennings said. “We have to win. I’m going to do my part and I’m going to try and make sure the team does their part.”

    Inside Pitch ):
REDD IS NOT HOING ANYWHERE people!  NOBODY is going to take him on after his season ending injury and contract PERIOD.

This sounds astute and all and I might tend to agree with you, but this is not true either.

There are teams who take guys on after major surgery like teams will take on Amare Stoudemire after he had retina surgery a far more delicate and potentially serious injury then Redd's structural damage to his knee.

And Amare has had micro-facture surgery the year before and his contract is identical to Redd's. The Rockets might even be able to move Tracy McGrady and he might miss the first month of the season!

So while you argument is logical, it is not altogether impossible or out of the realm of probability that Redd could be moved in the right deal if a teams doctors feel he can be fit for them by Novemember.

All trades involve risks and are not like they were 10 ten years ago. Now teams trade contracts, and salary slots as much as talent for talent. A trade for Redd CAN BE DONE...

Anyone who says it can't is fooling themselves. Alot of teams will take him...The Bucks just have to be willing to move him, and that would be a type of deal that they would NOT BROADCAST IT BEFOREHAND or give you any hint that it is coming in the media or through rumor.

That is a move that will come out of the blue for obvious reasons so as to not lose leverage or leak a deal. And when or if it happens it will improve our team greatly. Because coming off a surgery like his, how effective can he run up and down with Jennings is a key. I would move him for Amare Stoudamire and Leandro Barbosa right now in a package.

In fact, I would try to keep Redd and move Bogut, but that is just me. It is Bogut who does not fit now, not Redd.

“My main goal is coming out here, making the playoffs, getting my teammates involved and trying to bring the winning back to Milwaukee,” Jennings said. “We have to win. I’m going to do my part and I’m going to try and make sure the team does their part.”

BS. You dont know what the heck you are talking about. Redd can go in a trade! Just like Amare can and T-Mac can! Yes he can...

Now I am not saying he will be traded. But he can be traded! His injury is not as bad as Bogut's, Amare's or TMac's and they can be moved.

And there will be teams who want him! Why can't he go in a trade? Shaq went. How long do you think he will stay healthy and in shape? Redd is only 29 with one year left on his deal, not three!

He can feasible go in any deal just like Ray Allen can. Injuries are irrelevant. His injury is not impossible to come back from. 15 years ago, yes it would be highly unlikely.

But don't come in here ripping others who think he could be going and thinking you know for sure he can't or won't be going in a deal. Teams who are one player away and feel pressured by what the Spurs and Lakers did to get better and see their window closing can move and roll the dice for a guy like Redd.

Give me one good reason why he can't? Yes he can go in a deal like Josh Howard of Dallas can if they want to exchange him for Redd, and Josh was hurt all year too. Someone will sign Stephon Marbury and Allen Iverson too...

You can yell in caps all you want to...HE CAN BE MOVED

And I say it is 50/50. But I think they should move Bogut instead, who no longer fits what they need to do and he will be in the way of Jennings...and can't hit a jump shot or free throws, nor command the ball in the paint.

I would actually keep Redd and get rid of Bogut. On second thought I would get rid of both of them in the right deal and start over.

“My main goal is coming out here, making the playoffs, getting my teammates involved and trying to bring the winning back to Milwaukee,” Jennings said. “We have to win. I’m going to do my part and I’m going to try and make sure the team does their part.”

LOL Comparing Redd to Amare or Shaq is LAUGHABLE.  I'll rest on this with that last comment of yours and wait until Novmeber when Redd is still with us and tell you that I told you so and REDD IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE!  And Bogut should be moved before Redd?  I won't bother reading the comics tomorrow as I'll just wait for your next hilarious post!  Maybe we can trade Redd for Dwight Howard? LOL
