    Kendall a leadoff hitter

Is there any other major league team that has the catcher leading off?  Macha must be nuts and why does he change the batting order just about every day?

By the way, do the Brewers have another catcher on the roster?  Seems to me there was a guy by the name of Rivera but guess he just disappeared.

Not many. Kurt Suzuki had done it a bit last year with the A's, and a handful of times this year. The good hitting catchers like Mauer often have a lot of power, so they usually don't bat any higher than 2nd in the order. Kendall's power has been lacking to say the least.

Ty Cobb: "I believe I can truthfully say that I can hit equally well into either right or left field and generally at will. ... I will claim that when I am going right, I can drive four out of five fast balls within fifteen feet of where I want them to go."
