I know a lot of you like JJ, but I feel a guy like Escobar gives them more with speed and BA.

J.J. Hardy could be shopped for a starting pitcher as soon as right now.

How can the Pirates be rebuilding their farm system?  Shouldn't they have one of the best by now considering they give away their best players every year....

Plus they always draft so high.

God, this team is unbelievably horrible.

Every game they commit 2-3 awful gaffes. It's just sickening to watch game after game.

This is a dead team walking.

Like it matters.  You don't get the point?  I think I may have misspelled a word too so I guess my statement has no validity.  You aren't smart enough to know that it doesn't really matter who made the initial quote now does it?  You guys on these posts always pick apart someone if they are off on any item of minutae that has nothing to do with the point.  Here is my point whether Cali or Einstein or whoever first made it....there are a lot of guys who cry on here about umpiring when the Brewers lose but don't ever acknowledge any favorable calls towards the Brewers when those are made.  Is that clear enough for you Cali?

Lovely... should be another 2 runs in the next couple minutes.

Blame that one on the wet field, well if you are the Brewers.  Doesn't seem to be bothering the Pirates.  Think its time for Burns to take a seat.

Please, Macha, do not even consider removing Burns.

I literally don't care if he gives up 25 runs. It does not matter. They're already playing for tomorrow.

Ok fine, nice play by Wilson. But JJ is the slowest man alive. Seriously JJ, you are pathetically slow.

I just don't get how a guy that skinny runs that slowly.

The fact that Prince would no doubt beat JJ in a race is really sad

Maybe if Macha wants his starters to go deeper into games, he should speak with the sh*tty catcher that he never takes out if the FREAKIN' lineup.

Well, they've drafted HORRIBLY for years.

I sh*t you not, they popped a guy with the 4th overall pick a few years ago, Dan Moskos, who scouts rated as a "future middle releiver". Those were the bad old days and they're getting smarter now. Huntington is turning things around, but they are a LONG ways from being good. Probably where the Brewers were in 2003-ish. The foundation was largely in place, but they still needed to add lots of talent.

What is the season high in runs for the Pirates this year?  How nice that we are going to blow our bullpen for the series after the first game.

There is always a reason a guy is 30 year old rookie.
