Will Macha have a job tomorrow?

Im getting tired of this loser. All he does is stand in the dugout and chew gum. Why would he ever start Villanueva? Why would cameron ever be batting 2nd much less playing at all. Whay isnt Mcgehee playing every day. He makes Yost look like a Genious.

Macha is not the problem. His boss is.

Macha is by far the reason this team can't hit consistently or pitch.  He is also the reason Supp is hurt, Rickie got hurt, Parra collasped, and Bush got hurt.  Last year this team was blessed with out many injuries.  Also remember Matt Wise is on the DL too.

to answer the question tho... Macha will have a job tommorow, next week, next month, and next year.  That job is in Milwaukee.  We can thank DM for not making any early moves.

The bigger question is will he be back next year if the team completely tanks.

What is the magic number for him to be retained.........70?..75?..80?

81 should do it for sure.

If they drop below 75 or so, I think there is a good chance he's shown the door.

Manny Acta is available, and I would be all for that.

We don't have a leadoff or #2 hitter.  Macha will have a job, DM needs to go at the end of the year, do not buy or sell.  Season is over.

Why would you blame Melvin? After all, it's not like he's responsible for Gagne, Suppan, Gerut, Rieske....

I lose respect for Mr. A every day he keeps this bum on. Only in management/Congress can you screw up this much and still have a job. DM is the Billy Hall of GMs...

Except for building the first .500, first winning, and first playoff teams in a decade or more?

So that gives him a free passs for the crap he put on the field this year, issues this team had the that everyone with a brain knew needed to be addressed kast offeseason but weren't? At some point you need to quit kissing his ass and hold him accountable for this crap.

It doesn't give him a free pass for anything, but some people need to look at the facts and know why Melvin has a job and will continue to have a job. If you'd listen to some people, you'd think that Melvin did not turn this organization around in baseball operations.

BTW, you can say what you like about Melvin, too, but when is it the players' faults for not playing up to their potential? There are a lot of problems on this team over which Melvin has little or no control.

Who would you replace Melvin with?
