Last Day of September GameThread (Soup v Hammel)...

Might as well start the game thread for the night.

Soup off to a terrific start.  Uncontested triple for the lead-off hitter.

In what way was it "uncontested"?

I guess I should have said that Gonzalez got into third easily without a play on him there.

Nah... Coors and the elevation doesn't help anyone hit the ball farther.

Kendall... almost a 2nd HR in as many games!

Did that D-Bag actually get it?

    Seriously?

I didn't even know he hit one, just turned the game on.

BTW, who was going to buy a lottery ticket if Jason Kendall pulled that one out of the park?

Yes, it was him, and it literally came directly to him as he just stood there under it like a fielder taking an easy pop fly. He then immediately pointed to his shirt,  which surprisingly,  was of his own "Happy Youngster" design . UGH

And yes, Im sure you can check out all the replays tommorow on his Blog.

goddamn I hate that *** guy.

Fielder is at least 20 lbs heavier than he was at the begining of the season, isn't he?
