Whatever loser is it a crime in Milwaukee to get excited about Bucks basketball apparently?

He most certainly is! Not Bogut or Redd. He most certainly is.

And his legacy might start tonite against one Derrick Rose. This is what I envisioned when I began entertaining notions of the Bucks' perhaps being in position to select this 6'1 dynamo out of Lomattica Rome by way of Oak Hill Academy.

This will put some sauce in this regional rivalry between the Bucks and Bulls and if the Bucks do it right and get some 'real players' on this team to support Jennings this could be one of the best wars in the NBA for the next half decade or more!

It will bring in money in sales, in viewership and in merchandise...as well. Some will wear Rose (Or Wade?) jersey's and many will rock Jennings jersey's and we can pay for a new arena around here!

That is what Jennings is al about...a 'meal ticket' to draw in a Superstar that past Bucks teams in the Redd era could not entice and recruit to come here. Ray and Glenn got Sam Cassell to come, but Redd and a host of others only brought in Bobby Simmons...

Jennings will bring in anyone who wants to compete and win despite their  percieved reservations they may or may not have about other facets of Wisconsin which I think are overblown anyways...Players worth a damn make the city and community they play in and the city and other factors should not define them!

    Jennings...will work!

“My main goal is coming out here, making the playoffs, getting my teammates involved and trying to bring the winning back to Milwaukee,” Jennings said. “We have to win. I’m going to do my part and I’m going to try and make sure the team does their part.”

yeah but TJ had a low ceiling from the day he was drafted the guys 5-10(in shoes) and got routinly killed on D and had a horrible outside game.

There was only one man that could stop Michael Jordan and that was
    Michael Jordan.

    a few things:

why is it when people get excited about anything Bucks related, people have to smash them back down?  This town needs excitment on this team.  Jennings has brought that so far.  I think we would all agree, this isnt our year,  The Bucks arent going to do anything amazing.  I however think we are already more fun to watch than some of the Larry Harris teams out on the floor.  No heart, no desire to hussle. just a team that collected a paycheck.  We are headed in the right direction.

you should see the game thread, we were all very excited for jennings.  But its one game and we all need to realize that.  I hope to god he becomes atleast an all star, but i'm not going put the franchise on his back after 1 game.
