Sure, but in time you'll get over this Favre thing and it will be about the sheer joy of Packer football again. Hang in there dude.

Yeah, BJ was really the history making hero on that team. I think he might have been the first backup punter in NFL history.
At least Sander was better than , gasp, Derrick Frost.
Oops, I did it again.
Tank, Sherman was an awful GM but this *** is funny. Keep em coming. That's what I'm sayin! Tank knows he's full of crap. He just likes pushing buttons. Though now, it's not even bothersome anymore. It's strictly humor.

HumbertHumbert:# 3. Judge Parins: What an idiot.
Not a GM.
When some wild-eyed, eight-foot-tall maniac grabs your neck, taps the back of your favorite head up against the barroom wall, and he looks you crooked in the eye and he asks you if ya paid your dues, you just stare that big sucker right back in the eye, and you remember what ol' Jack Burton always says at a time like that: "Have ya paid your dues, Jack?" "Yessir, the check is in the mail."

Hence my response to him.
However, he's not one to let facts get in the way of a good argument.
If Favre wins the SB with the Vikings I will enjoy the moment, doesn't mean I'm not a true Packer Fan. robertj44, 6/26/09

However, he's not one to let facts get in the way of a good argument. Well, I was pretty sure most here are aware of it, and while "you're an idiot" is accurate, it's not all that specific.

Re: Worst 3 GMs in Packer History
I would say you'll have to squeeze Tom "I don't want Barry Sanders, Derrick Thomas or even Deion Sanders...I want Mandarich" Bratz in there. What a lowly time that was.....

Parins had full authority over the football operation. He was basically the de facto gm.

I'm serious about Sherman being a good GM. Compared to Thompson, Sherman is great.

No matter how you spin it, NOT a GM.

I am sure our forum resident historian, CheeseCity"Fool," can confirm that for a length of time until Wolf was hired, the Pack operated without the GM title. The President/CEO served as the de facto gm.

The President/CEO served as the de facto gm. That would be all well and good except for the fact that Tom Braatz immediately preceded Wolf and held the GM title from 87-91.

This whole thread is nothing but a lie then! I'm not sure I can believe anything this guy says anymore.
