    Rnay:

Have you even been awake today, al? My feelings are not a result of the Favre saga and I have done everything I can think of to make that plain.  The Favre mess played a part but only a part. I have already MADE "football" points about other things factoring into those feelings.

And as far as making it personal? Do you honestly think TBAC gives a flynig fred what I think of him? Really? Does it reduce his big old paycheck? Cause him to lose sleep or to go on meds? Doubt it. He has lots bigger worries than what I think of him.

Unfortunately, the perception that you give off is that you are a Brett Favre fan first. Which of course will lead to the conclusion that the majority of your "abandoning" of the Packers is driven by the decision to part ways with Brett after he retired/unretired in 2008.

Paint it as you will - your talk up of the Vikings sweep a few weeks ago was pretty telling for many.

    Perception?

I understand but logic has no place on a football forum or any other kind of forum so just leave it alone!

"This is not Detroit man...its the Super Bowl"
-Vikes announcer Paul Allen commenting on Favre, in a game that was most certainly NOT the super bowl.

Anybody remember the TV show Baretta?

Baretta used to say don't do the crime if you can't do the time.

    The "*sswipe" needs to go.

" Favre's record against the Cowboys is so attrocious, I would rather go into this game with Matt Flynn". Wcheezer 9-18-2008

I am truly dismayed at how poorly that this team has regressed. This team officially stinks.
    BOOO!
I have officially gotten of the MM bandwagon. It is now time to go ass wipe. If you take TT with you, it won't hurt my feelings one bit. This team needs a fresh start.

Just sifted through the results. I am taking the liberty to exclude the usual Thompson/Favre spillover as well as the political stuff. (And suggestions as to banishing others were similarly ignored. Thanks, by the way, for not listing me among them--even though several of you were probably thinking it.) As I counted them:

    • 3 - Cheezer should stay.
    • 6 - A bet is a bet, Cheezer should go.
    • 1 - It's up to him.
    • 2 - Like him to stay, but it's up to him.
    • 1 - He shouldn't go, but probably will because he's honorable.
    • 1 - Like the see the wager increased to double or nothing.
    • 1 - Can't make the wager double or nothing.
    • 1 - Cheezer stays until Ace issues apology.
    • 1 - Viking troll's votes shouldn't count. (Agreed. Removed one vote from the "should go" category.)
    • 1 - Take banishment and spend time reconnecting with Mrs. Cheeze making little goudas
    • 1 - Also make little bries.
    • 1 - Banish for the two week part. Permanent banishments ought not be allowed.(Actually, 3 votes to ban permanent banishments.)
    • 1 - Stop picking on Mick. (And it wasn't Mick's vote, either.)
    • 1- Kegman is quite good looking. ( Sadly, it was Kegman's vote.)

What the heck is the outcome? In a close one, Cheezer goes...for the two week part. Unable to determine anything beyond that.

    Was taken by Prime311's post:

Mick I'm not excusing Cheezer.  Hes manned up thus far into a 2 week self imposed ban.  He should honor it and its well deserved and best of all for you, you get the satisfaction of being right and winning.  Now you get a chance to be the better man and change the terms of your playoff bet.  Make it something stupid like the loser washes the winner's car.  Here's a great bet for you: the loser has to change their signature to whatever the winner wants for 1 year.  I'm not suggesting Cheezer be allowed to come back early from his 2 week ban, I just don't see any positive to lifetime banning someone thats active and cares about this team.

I think that's a brilliant and diplomatic solution to this problem. I urge Mick to give it full consideration should the permanent banishment wager kick in. Sufficient payback should be accomplished via Cheezer wearing the signature of your choice for a year. Well done, Prime311.

Sorry, the voting booths have been sealed. You can, however, make that the topic of your own poll.

    Dane_Setner:

Bottom line is this.  Who was right? Thompson for Favre?  Thompson said Favre was washed up and the Packers could win without him.....Favre said that Thompson didn't know how to build a winner and had plenty left in the tank.

This debate isn't even close....and the packers are suffering for it.  Hate Favre for being right.

    Source please.

BTW, I would hold off on proclaiming that Favre was right with the season only half over.

If Favre wins the SB with the Vikings I will enjoy the moment, doesn't mean I'm not a true Packer Fan. robertj44, 6/26/09

Unfortunately Muddy the poll backed the terms of the bet. You did it for this specific purpose and came away the minority. Then you ignore the results and continue the pleading? Something tells me old cheesepuff is lurking behind the scenes in your pm's.

All I did is change the name on his very own quote and it fits him to a T. Let's be realistic about Scooter, Campbell, or is it Wingnut. He's incapable of holding his own in a conversation without resorting to anti social behavior. His inferiority caused him to make poor choices about the way he communicates here. And he rightly got banned for it. He's lashing out against getting banned for the same reason he lashes out against people who disagree with him. He's sick of being inferior. Karma baby!

Sorry, Mick. I'm solely responsible for the above. Cheezer, however, is probably having a good laugh about your suspicion as he's clearly still on your mind.
