So 1st place is good enough for the Cardinals even though they surrendered 16 runs in the first 2 games to the lowly Giants offense, but it wasn't for the Brewers?

1st place is significant for argumentation about any team except for the Brewers.

What's funny is he waited until the Cardinals moved into first to respond.

When things go well, you rarely post.

When things go poorly, you manage to find all kinds of time to be here.

It's why, to a lot of people, you're just a bad joke.

I was at a lunch meeting today watching them choke on my Blackberry.

Monday and Tuesday I'm usually not home by game time. Always home on Sunday and usually enjoy Saturday night games.

Day games during the week vary.

But they've been bad on Sunday, the one day I'm always watching.

I may go through the schedule. I watch about two-thirds of their games maybe and see what their record is.

Again - I deal with a two hour time difference - so if I'm out at appointments - I can't necessarily get back in time for the game.

And I don't work 9-5 like most quite a few people - or get 3 months off like Einstein does.

Wow, Einey has gotten under wisblue's computer skin. This is like that time Radio got mad. Weird things happening on the Bubbler.

Einstein judges me on when I'm here and not here. That's what bothers me. I'm working at home every Sunday and watch every game that day.

They happen to be 4-9 on Sunday and have lost five in a row - but he assumes I'm there on Sunday just becasue they lost.

I had appts. Mon and Tue night this week and they happen to have won. Sorry, I can't change my schedule.

I was busy today and they lost.

I was here til the end Sat night when they rallied to win... but no no noticed that.

Some of us don't work nine months out of the year Einstein so we actually have to work for a living. I had a client visiting from out of town -- sorry I couldn't tell him I can't meet with you because I need to be on the board during the game.

I did show up afterward - just like today.
