Matthews In Place of Poppinga

Evidently Matthews is up to speed and not hurting at all, since he's displaced Poppinga at outside linebacker today. Made a decent play right off the bat, too.

This sucks though, Fox Chicago decided (last minute) to put on Giants / Saints, so I'm having to do the radio thing. At least Wayne and Larry are tolerable.

Can't get too excited so far about beating up the Lions. But I'm gettin' a wam fuzzy about Rogers. Pack defense doesn't look too impressive. But Rogers is keeping them off the field.

I was not paying attention to training camp because of all of the Favre sillyness. We apparenly have another decent wide receiver. Good for the depth chart. But if he can play, we may be witnessing the finest colection of wide-outs in recent memory.
