Are Badger Athletics on the decline

I'm just throwing this out there, but I'm the only one who feels the overall athletic program at wisconsin is on the decline. Outside of Women's hockey (a relatively new program) and men's cross country, most of our programs have taken a step backwards. Soccer is non-competitve, Men's hockey is down, womens vb, mens fb . . . . Is there a problem at the top or is this a cyclical thing?

Women's bowling

I"m watching the SWAC women's bowling championships on ESPNU, and noticed that the two top keglers for Alabama A&M are from Wisconsin. What in the name of Earl Anthony is going on that the top women's bowlers from the state are slipping through the cracks of the badger program. I hope someone high up in the administration is looking into this!!!!

Welcome to the Sports Bubbler’s Other Badger Sports message board! Our goal is to provide the ultimate website for the Wisconsin Sports Fan. Feel free to look around, kick the tires and get a good feel for the site. If you see a discussion you want to jump in on, feel free to step up onto the soap box and add your two cents worth.

While we do want you to say what you want and have some fun, we do have a few guidelines….

Foul language, personal attacks, accusations, sexually explicit items or any other things that we feel cross the line of good taste will not be tolerated. If we do feel that you stepped over the line we will utilize the three strikes and your out policy, but keep in mind you can always fly out the first pitch.

So – have some fun, talk about your favorite teams and let us know what you think!

And remember, if you have to ask what a Bubbler is you probably shouldn’t be following sports in Wisconsin!
