Hey y'all, just got in -- how's Webb's sinker looking? I didn't know until this year that a sinkerballer could go through a dead arm phase.
How is Parra the Splitterballer looking?

There's a bad case of the YIPS going around.

This is why Parra has high pitch counts

Dammit. The D isn't helping Para's early pitch count woes.

fmrmarinesgt97:
Cameron went on contact play and he tried to stay in a run down long enough for Parra to get to second....it was a good chance, oh well...pitcher is clear and top of order leads off next inning.
oops - my mistake. Of course that was Manny, not Hart (I was wondering why it took him so long to get to 2nd).
nice to grab 2 off Webb any way we can get it.
nice D, JJ!

No YIPS for Hardy. I like that. I like it a lot.

Hi, we're the Milwaukee Brewers defense. We make routine plays look awful and great plays look routine. At least today.... ;-)

Wow, not a good way to end it.
But if you had told me they could get two runs when Kendall was up with the bases loaded, I would have taken it happily.
Too bad they ran themselves out of it, though.
I was thrilled with two runs. The odds of them getting another one with Parra and Weeks coming up were probably unlikely.
Well, after two awful defensive plays, a great one by Hardy. Beautiful diving stop, great throw to second.

A small reason. Much bigger reason: Lots of walks and 3-2 counts. Parra does most of that to himself.

That's what I love about Parra and also McClung, I've noticed how even when the defense is crap behind them they dont let it bother them or use it as an excuse, they just go out and get the next guy. I cant stand pitchers that fall apart after an error
