His tougheness was qustioned on this forum after he was pulled Monday. Now that he has thrown the shutout, I am looking to see if any of those who did that are man or woman enough to make an apology to Ben for questioning him.

Well I guess thats not me, I realize ned pulled him as a precaution that game, but in general I do question his toughness.

His toughness was never a concern of mine, however his ability to stay healthy is. I give kudos to him for pitching a great game tonight (Defense helped him out alot), however one game does not a season make. We will have to see who he performs down the stretch, however there just seems to be a stigma around Sheets and until he can go a full season without whining about something ailing him, I am sure you will be waiting here alone for an apology from the masses.

As I said in the game thread, Ben pitched an outstanding ballgame today. But if he was so fugging tough he wouldn't have been afraid to swing the fugging bat because he might hurt himself.
You think you'd ever see CC do that? No fugging way. That's a REAL tough guy.
Yosty (YO-stee) n. A collection of games that the Brewers have lost , where you can look at a piece or pieces of management by Ned Yost and reasonably and logically conclude (based on conventional baseball wisdom and factual information available at the time) that he should have done something differently that could, along with other factors, possibly have changed the outcome of the game.

After all these years I do not expect Benny to drive in runs. ;-) I thought he was exceptional tonight considering SD had their ace on the mound and the Crew hasn't been hitting worth a darn for days...

I believe this is only the second time all season we won with 1-R scored.

Props to Benny for the game tonight. It was awesome. However, the guy pulled a groin muscle because he was dehydrated? So he more or less cost the game because he couldn't prepare properly. That was my problem. Arm troubles are worrisome, groin problems are annoying but happen. Groin problems that are preventable are rather unacceptable as a professional athlete.
Cub fans are the most immature and annoying fans... EVER.

I didn't question Sheets after Monday's game. Yost is the one who pulled him, justifiably I thought. Ben wanted to continue.
I questioned his toughness last year, and I'll stand by that.

BTW, since everyone made a big deal of Sheets' inability to pitch in big games, he hasn't allowed one run over the course of 3 GS, 20 IP. That's pretty damn good any way you slice it.
