    Anyone else pissed off....

    ...about the MNF game?

I know it's a premier showcase, but I wanna wake up, go for a bike ride, and watch GB play at noon, dammit! Instead I've gotta watch the Jest game and then slog all the way through Monday before I see one snap of Packer football.

Now you can say that Ive grown bitter,
But of this you can be sure
The rich have got their channels in the bedrooms of the poor
And theres a night of judgement coming...
    But I may be wrong;
Ya see I hear these funny voices in the Tower of Song

    Nope...

I am excited that I am interested in two teams this year...its twice the football

Its like having your cake and eating it too....men aren't the only ones having cornered the market on that idea LOL

Monday night games are worth the wait~ especially in Lambeau...more exciting...more coverage...more crowd noise...

I think alot of the fans are going to be watching both teams throughout the season.  Wishing both the teams a great season.  But if both teams make it to the SB you know I'll be rooting for GB.

Part of me hates waiting, but the other part of me likes to be able to watch all the other games. Thank God for DirecTV and the Sunday Ticket!

Swany, that's why they invented high school and college football--to fill in the time before the next Packers game.

Good point. Too bad I missed the Badgers game yesterday.

Could have been worse. You might have only had time to catch the first quarter.

Is it just me?  I hope Brett has a nice year and doesn't get hurt but I don't have this desire to watch his team.  I'm about as interested in the Jets as I am in any other team besides GB, even tho Brett is their starting QB now.  I might watch the first quarter to see how he's faring but then I'll switch to some other game.  I remember when Reggie came out of retirement and went to Carolina.  I didn't go out of my way to watch those games either.  For me, Monday won't come soon enough.

The bad part is Monday night means more ESPN, which means more fluff, more interviews overlapping game action, and especially bad, more Kornheiser.

I would normally agree. But I don't like the 2 Monday night game format anymore. It takes away form the excitement. Usually it was just that 1 big game everyone watched. Now with 2 games on Monday. I think that sucks. But I'm still excited.

It's not just you. The Jets are just space fillers until the Brewer game starts. People are acting like they're huge Jets fans. These people 2 months ago could not name 2 people on that team. I'm not stupid, I know it's just cause of Brett. But seriously, I just don't give a crap. I thank Brett for all the memories. But I just don't care about the Jets outside the draft pick the Pack will get.

Yeah, not to mention silbs that Favre will play one season there, so I'm not sure why people are bending over backwards to pretend that they're huge Jets fans.

A big "Oh crap!" can be heard all the way from Boston with Brady going down with a leg injury.

Raven, it's week 1. There's 16 games. I'd like the Jets to win as well because that means the Packers get a higher draft pick. But let's not get giddy here. The Pats are also winning and the Jets are only 2 scores against the worst team in the NFL. Let's let the season unfold a little before we start laughing at the team that went 18-1 last year.

exactly....and I was not laughing at the TEAM I was laughing at the prediction made a wee bit early....and then Brady goes down....

and I am of the minded crowd that they would not have gone so far if they had not cheated in the first place...
