Why would Weeks, Hardy, and Fielder be gone without a starting pitcher in return?

Wow. you want both Fielder and Hardy gone??? probably are 2 most disciplined hitters in a lineup already full of undisciplined hitter???? Lets just let go of all our core of leaders on a team that just went to the playoffs and dump them for extremely, young and unproven, but talented team.... Thank God, your not the GM of the Brewers...

That team should be good for about 55 wins.

This isn't just throwing the baby out with the bath water, it's ripping the tub out of the wall and smashing it with a sledgehammer.

"Melvin may have gotten this franchise out of a hole, but it is painfully clear that this clown cannot build a playoff team. How many more years are you willing to let Melvin continue to trot a team that has no plate disipline, bad basrunning, bad late inning pitching, and contiually chokes when its on the line? Melvin has no clue when it comes to hitters and it shows. Melvin must go if this team is to ever makes the playoffs again.:"

Where did a lot of the current Brewers go?  Why is Gamel's name spelled incorrectly?  Did we trade a bunch of people for a lot of minor league talent and bullpen arms?  Are you planning to kidnap a bunch of the players not on that list?

    I'm confused...

Re: Next Years possible starting lineup

Why does everyone wanna get rid of Hardy or move him for Escobar, a player that has barely sniffed the majors?!??  That would be one of the biggest mistakes the Brewers could possibly make!  Hardy can be a .290 30 90 RBI guy, with above average defense and everyone wants to get rid of him for a guy whose proven nothing in the majors! Makes zero sense.....

     2B- Orlando Hudson

    CF-  Tony Gwynn/ Kapler

    LF- Ryan Braun

    1B- Prince Fielder

    SS- J.J. Hardy

    RF- Corey Hart

3B-  Bill Hall/ Lamb  (Unless Gamel pulls a miracle this offseason and learns to play defense)

    C- Kendall

Rotation:  Yovani Gallardo, Oliver Perez, Dave Bush, Manny Parra, Jeff Suppan
