I will predict pack will go 0-6 or 1-5 in next six games, the reason is there is no leader of the team, I am quite suprised Woodson did not take it, he is the one that has shown professionalism during this season. I don't want to hear about sillystring arm being the new leader, he is not.If I have to hear about gap play and pad level from MM I think I will puke. These are professional atheletes,it goes a little deeper than that. If you teach them to be robots about how they play that is exactly what you get. NO PASSION FOR THE GAME. See you in the basement Lions
Regrettably, I have to agree with your larger point. Basically, except for Favre, this is the same team as last year. There was an article in which a player (forget who) was reviewing game film from last year's Seattle game play and compared it to how this team is playing this year and he was astonished. No one is attacking the ball. This team is not playing with passion. Something is wrong. It is one of those intangibles. As a coach you cannot "joystick" your players as MM seems to suggest. I predicted 4-12 before theseason started. I still really hope I'm wrong, but man something has to change...and fast.

With those two little words, you have shredded what little credibility you had.

Being a leader is something that is earned. I think Rodgers is starting to earn the respect of his teammates. He has shown a lot of class in the way he has handled the whole Favre mess. Last week he also probably earned a lot of respect by playing hurt. This team will come around and Rodgers will be the guy who leads them!

While I personally think it would have been far wiser to keep Favre around, I do think Aaron Rogers is doing the best job he can under the circumstances. In my mind Favre brought a lot of those valuable intangibles to every game. I know a lot of guys disagree with that, but whatever. Now you dance with the one who brung ya', and that's A-Rod. We could have done a lot worse than Rogers. This coaching staff needs to figure out how to rekindle, or at least help facilitate, that team special chemistry. Hopefully that will come as the season progresses.

I always think it's best to let the patient die, first, before I do a post-mortem.
