Who the Packers Fans Support for President

I'm not a thread starter, but I've had it with politics being snuck into posts about Packers topics. If you want to get politics out of your system on this Packers Forum how about doing it in this thread and leave it out of the rest? Support whoever you want. Criticize whoever you want. Couldn't we, PLEASE, let the other threads be about Packers topics? (If you suspect I'm getting burned out on politics you are perceptive.)

I don't know yet. I like McCain because he has proven to be bi-partisan in the past and has the experience. I like Obama and the fresh voice, but then again he grew up via the corrupt Illinois political system.

Sorry MM - I'd rather sneak snide partisan references into unsuspecting threads -

it's a MUCH more effective way to tweak our more sensitive posters.

The differences between these two candidates is so stark that I find it hard to believe that their are people out there that "don't know yet".

Bipartisanship is a joke. There is no such thing in government. It is a word that politicians use to gain favor with the press and the part of the American public that has no core beliefs or values.

Obama's campaign is built on this "fresh face" garbage and hope and change. Just what does that mean?

If you "don't know yet", I would suggest you just pass on November 4th.

I think Flavor Flav, rap singer from public enemy would make a good president.  From his latest TV show "flavor of love", I think he would be right up there with Clinton.

I don't know yet because I am not a member of either party and I don't let my decision be based on what someone tells me to do.

And why is it a problem that I don't know who I am voting for yet? I still have three weeks to make up my mind.

And this is another reason I hate politics...people like this that try and tell everyone else what to do.

I started this thread in the pathetic hope of segregating politics to one thread. And because I'm getting tired all the politics going on out there off the forum as well as on it. In spite of all that you really want to know whose sign is by my mailbox? I'll tell you...in November.

Hey Raven,  I've been looking for you to post all week and don't you use that excuse that some of us work hard during the week.  I was actually wondering if something happened to you, glad to see your here and well.  Enjoy the game today (Whether it be the Packers or the Jets).

    lol....about factcheck.org~

We are a nonpartisan, nonprofit "consumer advocate" for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics. We monitor the factual accuracy of what is said by major U.S. political players in the form of TV ads, debates, speeches, interviews and news releases. Our goal is to apply the best practices of both journalism and scholarship, and to increase public knowledge and understanding.

The Annenberg Political Fact Check is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania. The APPC was established by publisher and philanthropist Walter Annenberg in 1994 to create a community of scholars within the University of Pennsylvania that would address public policy issues at the local, state and federal levels.

The APPC accepts NO funding from business corporations, labor unions, political parties, lobbying organizations or individuals. It is funded primarily by the Annenberg Foundation.
