I concur, stix. Jefferson is better than I thought he would be both as an individual achiever and a positive influence on team play. I was expecting a little sulking about being exiled to Milwaukee, but he's been great. The Prince has been a pleasant surprise, Sessions is progressing well, Ridnour is better than the Steve Blake clone I thought he would be, Gadzuric is rejuvenated, Bogut is commanding double-teams and controlling the boards, and even Michael Redd is showing incipient signs of team play.
The things that really encourage me are the improved spacing and ball movement lately. For years it's been painfully obvious that the Bucks on offense were deployed as if their goal were to make themselves as easy as possible to defend. In the last few games we've seen how many easy shots and layup opportunities can result from spacing the floor properly and finding the open man. This all may be temporary, but if it continues I think things could be looking up in a big way. I don't like to talk playoffs this early, either, but the time from mid-January on, when the schedule eases, could be the best we've seen in about five years.
