Honestly, Juan Pierre is a good guy to have at a decent price, NOT what the Dodgers are paying.
No matter who is in there, we have to find a way to throw the ball better for us to have success. I think when you are constantly behind in games, it is not easy and it is not fun. Their starting pitcher was clearly better than ours this series.

Looks like the wind pattern changed when the Cubs came up.
No matter who is in there, we have to find a way to throw the ball better for us to have success. I think when you are constantly behind in games, it is not easy and it is not fun. Their starting pitcher was clearly better than ours this series.

I don't see why. He took a ball, took a close strike and then ended up rolling over a good change to the bottom of the zone. That looked like a pretty well executed pitch sequence to me.

I'm not sure that's a comparison worth making. Pierre was just lucky to work in a profession where people are superstitious and dumb enough to think he's valuable enough to play everyday.
